* These are weekly prices per cottage. Nightly prices which are one-seventh of the weekly rate are shown in brackets thus: (23). A supplement of £5.00 per night is charged for short stays of 3/4/5 nights. (e.g. 10 nights in barn high season £400). Winter prices, long lets, combined House/Barn/Hibiscus bookings: please ask.

Extras

Everything is covered in the price (linen, water heating, gas for cooking, fuel for woodburning stoves in summer, etc.) except in the winter when there is a £2.00/night fuel supplement

To Book or reserve a cottage

A deposit of one-third of the rental plus a £40 security deposit secures your reservation. This security deposit will be returned to you, less significant costs for breakages or damage, outstanding charges for extras, and special cleaning charges if applicable, within a fortnight of the end of your holiday.

Reservations are finally confirmed as bookings when you send in your booking form. You may use PayPal to make a reservation or to pay anything else (e.g. the final balance of your holiday). If you use PayPal to make a reservation you will receive a confirmation email almost immediately, and an information pack from us, by ordinary post.

For whole week bookings in high season, we prefer Wednesday to Wednesday. This takes advantage of cheaper mid-week ferry prices, and means you can avoid travelling on "black Saturdays" when all France seems to be on the move.

Cancellation

If you cancel we will retain the £40 security deposit to cover administration costs. If you cancel between four and eight weeks before the start of your holiday, we also retain the one third rental element of your deposit; if within four weeks of the start we will retain your complete payment. If however another tenant can be found, the rental element will be returned to you.
